Secular geologists have rejected Biblical history and assert that there has been no global flood as described in Genesis. But vast quantities of fossils and sedimentary rock provide a monumental testimony to this historical event and God's recent judgment. Is the worldview of these geologists causing them to "deliberately ignore that the world was deluged with water and perished" (2 Peter 3:3-6)?

This presentation provides the Biblical answer to the fossil record and an encouragement for Christians to trust in the Bible as authoritative on early Earth history. Numerous examples of fossils are provided that defy conventional explanation and interpretation in support of the theory of evolution. When examined, we can easily see that the fossils have been misinterpreted by naturalistic scientists and are much more consistent with catastrophic activity and a young Earth.

Dr. Humphreys provides a fascinating cosmology for how stars could appear to Adam and Eve.

For biblical creationists this seems to be completely contrary to the Bible's Young Earth perspective. Since some stars are billions of light years away, it seems foolish to believe that the universe is only 6.000 years old. This is a problem for biblical creationists and it is a huge public relations problem since it is easy for moderately educated people to understand the problem and what it means in regard to the age of the Universe.

In recent years creation cosmologists have been thinking about how to solve the problem. Several of them have come up with testable hypotheses. Dr. Humphreys has a scientifically realistic solution to the problem. His PhD is in physics from Louisiana State University in 1972. He has worked for General Electric and Sandia National Laboratories in nuclear physics.

Here I give a new picture of how gravity works, depicting space as a membrane being greatly accelerated in a 4th spatial direction. The Unruh effect, which connects acceleration with a black-body temperature, could then explain the cosmic microwave background radiation. The Scriptural phrase "stretching out the heavens like a tent curtain" might not mean a many-fold extension (expansion) of the membrane, but rather an increase of the tension within it. A stepwise increase of the tension on the 2nd day of creation would make the gravitational potential of the cosmos slowly increase even until now, without significant expansion. This results in a new redshift-versus-distance relation. It is slightly nonlinear, providing an alternative explanation for an "accelerating universe" without need for "dark energy." The new r...
